Protambulyx goeldii (Taxonomy)
Morphology:
Closely resembling Protambulyx astygonus but: Forewing upperside with a distinct discal spot. Hindwing upperside with a straighter distal edge, less curved antemedian line, median line absent, and submarginal line less dentate. Gnathos narrower than in Protambulyx astygonus. Valve with patch of stridulatory scales broader than in Protambulyx astygonus. Harpe with a strongly pointed tooth.
