General description:
Transferred to Pseudopolyptychus by Carcasson, 1968, Jl E. Afr. nat. Hist. Soc. natn. Mus.26 (3): 43.
Morphology:
An undistinguished moth with pale brown forewings overlain with darker brown markings. Thorax pale brown with a longitudinal dark brown median line. Proboscis very short.Tibial spurs very short, unarmed, appressed to tibia. Forewing upperside pale brown with a subapical darker brown triangular patch on the costa and a dark brown line crossing the discal cell, expanding at M3 into a postmedian trapezoidal darker brown patch between this vein and CuA2. Retinaculum absent. Frenulum very weak. Uncus bilobed.Gnathos crescent-shaped. Harpe small, basal. Aedeagus and vesica unarmed.
