Psilogramma mandarina Eitschberger, 2001 [Invalid]

Synonymized with Psilogramma increta by Kitching and Rougerie et al., 2018, Biodivers. Data J. 6: e22236. Psilogramma mandarina was distinguished from Psilogramma increta by a darker grey ground colour to the upperside, a smaller forewing discal spot, a longer and broader saccus and differences in the shape of the bursa copulatrix. All of these features are highly variable individually within Psilogramma species and not indicative of species status. Furthermore, DNA barcode data place the holotype of Psilogramma mandarina deep within a cluster formed of numerous samples of Psilogramma increta from localities ranging from Japan to Nepal, Assam, Thailand and Vietnam (BIN AAA2716). Consequently, there is no justification for maintaining Psilogramma mandarina as a species.
