LECTOTYPE ♀ Ceylon [Sri Lanka] [(Templeton)] [NHMUK]; designated by Kitching & Cadiou, 2000, Hawkmoths of the world: 160. This specimen is also paralectotype "a" of Diludia discistriga Walker (1856).
Taxonomic Notes:
Synonymized (inversely) with Diludia abietina by Butler, 1876, Trans. zool. Soc. Lond. 9: 629. Butler's inverted synonymy was corrected by Kirby, 1892, Synonymic Cat. Lepid. Heterocera 1: 683. Synonymized with Psilogramma increta by Kitching & Cadiou, 2000, Hawkmoths of the world: 64. Reinstated as a species by Eitschberger, 2001, Neue ent. Nachr. 52: 14.
