Rhagastis albomarginatus
Dorsal scaling of antenna pinkish white; underside with basal cilia slightly prolonged. Labial palp segment 1 apical cavity distinct, about as broad as long; segment 2 not narrowed to base. Metanotum with a conspicuous tawny patch at each side. Abdomen without a pair of golden dorso-lateral stripes. Outer row of forebasitarsal spines simple, sometimes with a few additional spines at the base. Forewing upperside with first and third postmedial lines reduced to a series of prominent vein dots, second postmedial line very weak or absent; an inconspicuous and diffuse pale patch between M2 and CuA2 and a similar but less marked pale area between the antemedial and postmedial lines below the discal cell, and subapically between Rs3 and M1 distal to the postmedial lines; degree of development of these three pale patches individually variable, ranging from clearly visible to almost absent. Pale band reduced to an ill-defined patch near anal angle. Fringe weakly dentate, white with brown vein spots. Costal edge at least partly creamy white, unlike Rhagastis everetti. Hindwing underside with a small black discal spot.
Valve very broadly rounded distally. Harpe slender. Phallus apical process with a short right lobe with few teeth and a more proximal left process that is dentate along the proximal and apical edges, with one or two teeth along the distal edge; the right or both processes sometimes absent, as in Rhagastis everetti.
