Hyloicus maurorum
Diagnostic description:
First generation indistinguishable in pattern from central European Hyloicus pinastri; second generation often very pale. Interbreeds with Hyloicus pinastri in central and eastern France, with a stable hybrid zone.
Male genitalia: Similar to those of Hyloicus pinastri but: sacculus with lobes much shorter, the dorsal flat, broad proximally, elongate-triangular, pointed, dentate; the ventral rounded, less than half the length of the dorsal.
