Temnora inornatum
Similar in habitus to Temnora nitida but broad oblique band on forewing upperside narrowed and angled on M3.
Forewing outer margin as in Temnora nitida. Forewing upperside with oblique brown band narrowed towards M3, where it is distinctly angled, then broadening again though becoming less clearly defined towards outer margin; inner margin with antemedial and postmedial bands below CuA2 conspicuously darker; medial coloration extends between these two darker pattern elements almost to outer margin. Hindwing upperside with marginal band intermediate in intensity and definition between those of Temnora murina and Temnora nitida.
Male genitalia: Gnathos shorter and wider than uncus. Valve with three stridulatory scales. Harpe short, mushroom-shaped. Phallus with a strongly sclerotized, anteriorly directed, dentate apical process.
Records from "Namaqualand" (mapped as Northern Cape) and "Transvaal" (mapped as Gauteng) are unlocalized and need further verification. Confirmed localities are at present restricted to an area between Grahamstown and Durban.
