Temnora namaqua
Diagnostic description:
Similar to Temnora nitida but oblique band replaced by a dark brown triangular patch on the costa that is basally (not distally) edged with pale coloration (similar to that in Temnora plagiata but narrower). Forewing upperside of female similar to the male but pattern very diffuse, elements difficult to discern.
MAle genitalia: Harpe short, rounded. Phallus with short pointed dentate anteriorly directed apical process.
Distribution:
Specimens from Sierra Leone (NHMUK), Kenya and Tanzania (CMNH) are considered to be mislabelled and are not mapped.
