Temnora scheveni
Similar to Temnora pseudopylas pseudopylas but larger and very much darker. Immediately distinguishable from all other Temnora with yellow on the hindwing upperside in that this colour is restricted to the basal third of the wing, not extending beyond apex of discal cell. Forewing upperside dark brown, more uniformly coloured than Temnora pseudopylas pseudopylas. Hindwing upperside yellow at the base, dark brown distally, with conspicuous narrow yellow submarginal line. Forewing length: 22-23 mm.
Male genitalia: Gnathos wide, heavily sclerotized and irregularly dentate. Valve rather long, subdorsal ridge well developed, five large stridulatory scales. Harpe broad basally, tapering rapidly, upcurved apically. Phallus apical process with a narrow oblique dentate ridge on the right side and a long slender process with two apical notches on the left side.
