Temnora scitula
Immediately distinguishable from all other species of Temnora (but not from the other taxa of the species-group) by the two translucent white spots on the postmedial band, one between M2 and M3, the other between CuA1 and CuA2 ; the former spot is sometimes longitudinally doubled, and also sometimes an additional small spot between M1 and M2. Forewing upperside with an oblique brown band from costa to CuA2, sharply defined proximally, narrowed medially; a white translucent spot proximally of the band at CuA2, followed by vestiges of one or two dots, and another white translucent spot between M3 and CuA1. Hindwing upperside orange-brown, with paler median band and deep brown marginal band.
Male forewing length: 19-23 mm.
Male genitalia: Harpe straight and slender; phallus with a raised and curved patch of teeth; not extended to apex on left side; right edge of patch projecting, cariniform, dentate.
