Temnora turlini (Taxonomy)
Morphology:
Immediately distinguishable from all other species of Temnora by the narrow diffuse pinkish-white band running from a point on the costa two-thirds from the base almost perpendicularly to the tornus, this separating a dark brown basal area of the wing from a paler brown distal zone. Wingspan: 50ÔÇô52 mm. Uncus long, slightly bent ventrally, heavily sclerotized apically. Gnathos slightly shorter than uncus. Valve with five stridulatory scales. Harpe short, thin, upcurved. Aedeagus short and wide, with a strong plate armed with long spines. Vesica with numerous long spines.
