Diagnostic description:
Forewing upperside with basal band rather broad and brown; postmedial line angled, running obliquely from costa to M3 then basally to middle of inner margin; discal spot minute, white. Hindwing upperside basally yellow, medial band orange, diffuse, merging distally into the wide blackish marginal band.
Male genitalia: Harpe with a broad proximal tooth, apically upcurved, upper surface densely denticulate. Phallus with a flat trapezoidal process widest apically with dentate edges and a short pointed process on the opposite side.
