Theretra clotho (Drury, 1773)

Abdomen upperside with a pair of black lateral patches at base (unlike Theretra celata). Forewing upperside ground colour olive-green to greyish-green; postmedial lines generally weak, except for the fourth, which is conspicuous and runs to the apex of the wing where it merges with the oblique apical line. Forewing underside with blackish-brown basal area generally more extended than in Theretra celata. Hindwing upperside with buff medial band more abbreviated anteriorly than in Theretra celata, not extending anterior of M3.

MAle genitalia: Overall, similar to those of Theretra indistincta indistincta. Uncus sinuate. Gnathos pointed.Valve with numerous, narrow stridulatory scales. Harpe truncate, dorsal edge more or less notched, with no free process. Phallus with a long patch of proximally directed teeth; the central point of each tooth much longer than the lateral ones and curved.
