Theretra indistincta
Male: Similar to Theretra clotho clotho but immediately distinguishable by the silvery-grey upperside ground colour and pinkish tone of the antennal scaling, forewing costa and abdomen underside. Labial palp segment one apical cavity as sharply defined as in Theretra incarnata and Theretra gnoma. Foretibia and foretarsus almost white. Forewing upperside similar to Theretra clotho clotho but: ground colour silvery-grey (not olive-brown), a darker cloud crossing the wing from costa to tornus just distal to the discal spot; first to third postmedial lines very weakly indicated; fourth postmedial line very narrow, separated at Rs4 from the short, indistinct apical line (as in Theretra gnoma). Female: Forewing upperside similar to the male but speckled with brown scales.
Male genitalia: similar to Theretra gnoma but: Harpe more obviously dentate. Valve with numerous narrow stridulatory scales. Phallus with apical dentate patch extended anteriorly.
