Theretra insignis
Upperside of abdomen with two strong white dorsal lines, sometimes partly fused as in Theretra cajus. Forewing upperside similar to Theretra turneri but space between third and fifth postmedial lines silvery-white and curved at M3, and sixth postmedial line only slightly dentate.
Male genitalia: Very similar to Theretra turneri, but right apical process of phallus longer.
Very similar to Theretra kuehni but larger and forewings more pointed. There are two specimens in NHMUK labelled "Nanjang, China", a locality that is considered to be erroneous.
