Theretra insularis
Very similar to Theretra rhesus but upperside ground colour greener (when fresh) and the forewing upperside pattern different such that the dorsal lines of abdomen and especially the thorax are weaker (often vestigial on the thorax). Forewing upperside similar to Theretra rhesus but ground colour with an obvious green colour (when fresh) and with less difference in tone between it and the darker green pattern elements (so that the overall pattern looks less variegated), and the first postmedial line reaching the inner margin at about one-third of its length from the wing base.
Male genitalia: Valve with dorsal and ventral margins clearly angled upward, distal margin more pointed and central section of dorsal margin convex; ventral margin of sacculus almost straight.
