Forewing upperside similar to Theretra lycetus but fused first and second, and third postmedian lines heavily marked from inner margin to CuA1 and fifth postmedial line darker. Hindwing upperside with vestigial pale medial band present, usually including an indistinct brown line, proximal to which another line is occasionally visible.

Harpe horizontal proximally, then smoothly curving slightly ventrad, then dorsad distally; apex slightly widened in dorsal view. Phallus with right process forming a pointed conical tooth; left process band-like, widest distally, narrowing apically, being elongate-triangular, resembling a knife blade, the proximal edge minutely and densely dentate, the distal edge without teeth.
