General description:
Synonymized with Theretra pinastrina (Martyn) [sic] as a subspecies by Rothschild & Jordan, 1903, Novit. zool.9 (suppl.): 784. Synonymized with the nominotypical subspecies by Jensen, 1973, Steenstrupia3: 9. Reinstated as a subspecies of Theretra silhetensis by d'Abrera, [1987], Sphingidae Mundi: 198.
Morphology:
Forewing upperside as in Theretra silhetensis silhetensis but space between fourth and fifth postmedian lines narrower and fifth postmedian line not thicker than sixth.
