Theretra sugii
Diagnostic description:
Differs from all other species of Theretra in the forewing shape, acute apically, concave below the apex on the outer margin and rounded at the tornus, giving a very broad-winged appearance. Antennae very long, reaching beyond the discal spot. Forewing upperside similar to Theretra queenslandi costal area, discal cell and area beyond the fourth postmedial line dark olive green, contrasting with the reddish-grey ground colour; discal spot larger. Forewing underside dark reddish brown (rather than yellowish-green as in Theretra rhesus), lacking continuous transverse lines but intensely speckled with small dark dots. MAale FWL: 40-43 mm.
