Unzela japix
Male: Similar in general appearance to Aleuron iphis but forewing upperside with a characteristic dark olive-green medial band, outlined in white and the outer edge strongly indented on M2 and CuA2. Base of abdomen dorsally with a narrow white band (as in Aleuron iphis and Aleuron neglectum). Forewing upperside with dark olive-green (often fading to tawny) medial band, basal edge straight, outer edge incised at M2 and CuA2; posterior part relatively broad and central part more or less rounded distally.
Male genitalia: Uncus apically rounded-truncate. Gnathos not quite twice the length of uncus, less slender than in Aleuron iphis. Valves irregularly half moon-shaped, dorsal margin concave, ventral margin rounded, apex very obtuse, each with a large patch of stiff setae near base. Left harpe much shorter than left valve, right harpe longer than right valve, both of the same type as Aleuron chloroptera. Phallus ending in a narrow, non-dentate lobe.
