Xylophanes docilis
Diagnostic description:
Very similar to Xylophanes amadis but forewing outer margin straighter. Abdomen with a distinct dorsal median line (absent in Xylophanes amadis). Outer spur of midtibia as long as inner. Prominent dark green postmedial line on forewing upperside almost straight (slightly sigmoid in Xylophanes amadis); a vestigial, dentate, submarginal line present basal to the submarginal row of vein spots. Brown marginal border narrower than in Xylophanes amadis.
