Xylophanes hannemanni
Diagnostic description:
Very similar to Xylophanes germen but outer margin of forewing smooth (except for some specimens from Peru and Bolivia, in which the outer margin may be slightly crenulate) and somewhat concave.
MAle genitalia: Harpe varying from short and sharply pointed to long, blunt and smooth. Phallus apex with a doubly developed transverse process, with a dentate flange on the left (number of teeth varying from three to seven) and a small tooth on the right, which varies from being sharp and well sclerotized to extremely reduced.
