Xylophanes marginalis
Diagnostic description:
Forewing upperside very similar to Xylophanes tyndarus but first postmedial line less oblique and placed closer to the antemedial lines; apical dash absent (present in Xylophanes tyndarus). Male FWL: 26 mm; female FWL: 31 mm.
Very similar to Xylophanes reussi but larger, greener and with a less contrasted forewing upperside pattern in which the postmedial band is less sharply delineated distally and the submarginal area is pale green (dark grey in Xylophanes reussi).
