Diagnostic description:
Most similar to Adhemarius palmeri but: Forewing upperside subbasal band complete, irregular along proximal margin; antemedial oblique line very narrow, almost transverse, reaching costa just distal to subbasal band; subapical patch smaller, bluntly triangular. Hindwing upperside marginal band narrower.
Male genitalia: As in Adhemarius palmeri.
