Xylophanes undata
Diagnostic description:
Very similar in colour and pattern to Xylophanes zurcheri. Hindtibial spurs shorter than in Xylophanes ceratomioides; hindtarsus very long (as long as the forewing discal cell. Forewing outer margin more strongly crenulated than in Xylophanes zurcheri, crenulations all of similar size except for that at the end of M2, which is slightly longer. Forewing upperside similar in colour and pattern to that of Xylophanes zurcheri but most distal postmedial line more conspicuous and straight (although externally crenulated), delineating a narrow, rectangular, pale purple-grey patch that stretches from the tornus as far as M1.
