Agnosia orneus
Diagnostic description:
Superficially similar to Clanidopsis exusta but forewing outer edge even, forewing upperside with only weak transverse lines and an inconspicuous discal spot, and hindwing upperside more orange and lacking almost all traces of transverse lines. Proboscis present but short; pulvilli and arolium present. Foretibia with a strong apical thorn. Hindtibia unspined and lacking a subapical spur.
Male genitalia: Tegumen with long hair-scales. Uncus elongate, spatulate, somewhat truncate apically. Juxta covered with minute spines. Valve sole-shaped, lacking stridulatory scales, with a convex patch of short setae above the harpe. Harpe comprising three nearly equidistant hooks. Phallus lacking armature.
