Aleuron prominens
Very similar to Aleuron chloroptera but distinguishable by the more elongate forewing, the presence in males of an additional small apical lobe on forewing CuA2, and the lack of a diffuse medial black patch on the forewing underside.
Male: Forewing underside lacking the diffuse median black patch; black marginal band of hindwing upperside reaching only as far as CuA2 (reaching 1A in Aleuron chloroptera).
Female: Forewing upperside very similar to Aleuron chloroptera but with a small diffuse patch of white scales subapically on the costa and a similar submarginal patch below the apex.
Male genitalia similar to those of Aleuron chloroptera but: valve with short stridulatory scales that are concealed in ventral view by a crest of prolonged ordinary scales (as in Aleuron carinata); apical process of phallus thinner, somewhat triangular, twisted, dentate only along the edge.
