Type data:

HOLOTYPE [♂] "Cambodia" [«Siam,» Laos «(Mouhot)»] (coll. Saunders) [OUMO]. Walker erroneously stated that the holotype was from Cambodia (Rothschild & Jordan, 1903, Novit. Zool. 9 (suppl.): 206). Kirby, 1892, Synonymic Cat. Lepid. Heterocera 1: 24, gave the holotype data as "a. Laos. Siam (type) (Mouhot)".
