Ambulyx meeki
Diagnostic description:
Distinguished from other species by the conspicuous olive antemedial and medial bands of the forewing upperside. Resembles Ambulyx wildei, but the submarginal line of the forewing is more curved than in Ambulyx wildei and not distinct posterior to about the level of vein M3.
Male genitalia: Abdominal sternum A8 with a small mesal lobe. Gnathos sinuate. Harpe with a pointed curved submesal process and a broad spatulate distal process. Phallus with short apical process and a dentate fold (as in Ambulyx substrigilis).
Female genitalia: Sterigma with ridge before ostium bursae shallowly bisinuate, thin but strongly sclerotised; lamella postvaginalis smooth, truncate, somewhat raised mesally.
