Ambulyx semifervens
Diagnostic description:
Similar to Ambulyx moorei and Ambulyx dohertyi, but with wings broader and, distal margin of forewing more convex.
Male genitalia: Tergum A8 produced into a mesal, weakly emarginated lobe. Gnathos with arms closer together than in Ambulyx moorei and Ambulyx dohertyi and arms triangular, pointed. Harpe composed of a distally raised ventral ridge and an oblique-dorsal ridge, ridges joining distally; lacking hook of Ambulyx moorei. Phallus as in Ambulyx moorei.
