Antinephele anomala
Most similar to Antinephele achlora. Underside of abdomen white with scattered brown scales (pinkish-brown in Antinephele achlora). Forewing upperside similar to Antinephele achlora but antemedian band curving distad to run as a narrow, greenish band along the leading edge of the discal cell, continuing along M1; outer edge of subapical oblique band pale olive-green or khaki, lacking the pinkish colour of Antinephele achlora; conspicuous lunulate white spots between M1 and M2, and between M2 and M3 larger and more quadrate than in Antinephele achlora; inner crescent-shaped marks between Rs3 and Rs4 and between Rs4 and M1 white and much more conspicuous than the greenish outer marks; apical line connecting outer edge of oblique band to forewing apex very narrow as far as Rs4, forming a conspicuous white lunule between Rs3 and Rs4.
Male genitalia: Uncus as slender as in Antinephele muscosa, more evenly curved, far less curved than in Antinephele achlora. Gnathos with lobe much smaller than in Antinephele achlora, slightly spatulate. Harpe as in Antinephele achlora but quite straight.
Female genitalia: Postvaginal plate subtriangular with a large, reniform central opening. Antrum fairly long and narrow. Ductus bursae short. Corpus bursae small, rounded, smooth; posteriorly with a large, cordate signum, apex directed anteriorly, with a few large tubercles near base; anterior of signum is a leaf-shaped area of thickened membrane covered in minute papillae and with a median depression where the membrane is thinner.
