Diagnostic description:
Very similar to Callambulyx kitchingi but differing in being on average larger, the antemedial line of the forewing upperside projecting less towards the wing base on vein 1A+2A (although this feature is somewhat variable), the broader and medially unconstricted uncus, the broader apex of the harpe and the shorter juxta process.
