Manduca paphus subsp. caestri
Diagnostic description:
A very small and pale subspecies. Differs from Manduca sexta in having the forewing upperside white, submarginal line absent or vestigial; the black discal line prominent against a pale ground colour; abdomen with white dorsal dots conspicuous.
Male genitalia: Similar to Manduca paphus paphus, with the dentate lobe of the harpe narrow, not broad as in Manduca sexta.
