Taxonomic Notes:
Transferred to Micracosmeryx by Mell, 1922, Beitr. Fauna Sinica 2 (Biol. Syst. sudchin. Sphingiden): xxi. Erroneously synonymized with Gurelca himachala sangaica by d'Abrera, 1987, Sphingidae Mundi: 152, who then used Micracosmeryx macroglossoides Mell (1922) (q.v.) as the valid name for this species (d'Abrera, 1987, Sphingidae Mundi: 150). Reinstated as a species in Gurelca by Bridges, 1993, Cat. Fam. Gen. Spec. Sphingidae of the World: VIII.8. Transferred back to Micracosmeryx by Kitching & Spitzer, 1995, Tinea 14: 188. Transferred to Dahira by Haxaire, Melichar & Manjunatha, 2021, European Ent. 13 (3) 115.
