Cautethia grotei subsp. hilaris
Morphology:
Similar to Cautethia grotei grotei but forewing ground colour much paler, making the pattern of transverse bands and lines much more conspicuous and giving the moths a much more contrasting pattern. Hindwing upperside with distal edge of basal yellow area not very sharply defined. 14.5-16.0 mm. Identical to those of Cautethia grotei grotei.
