Morphology:
Very similar to Cautethia noctuiformis noctuiformis but paler. Hindwing upperside differs from Cautethia noctuiformis noctuiformis in lacking the thin black line along 1A+2A that divides the basal yellow area. 14.0-15.0 mm. 15.5 mm. Very similar to Cautethia noctuiformis noctuiformis but:Gnathos is sturdier, upperside with more rounded and less projecting teeth.Harpe more elongated, very feebly dentate, with several rounded teeth (in Cautethia noctuiformis noctuiformis, this part is rounded and very dentate; in Cautethia noctuiformis bredini, it is completely smooth).Aedeagus apically produced as a point covered with small teeth, the most distal less numerous.
