Diagnostic description:
Immediately distinguishable from Chaerocina dohertyi by the green forewing upperside and brown-black hindwing upperside with a green marginal band, and from Chaerocina ellisoni by the larger size, dark annular discal spot on the forewing upperside and dark basal two-thirds of the hindwing upperside. Male FWL: 37-38 mm.
