Cypa claggi
Habitus: Most similar in pattern to Cypa ferruginea but in colour more like Cypa decolor decolor. Unusual in that the forewing upperside is much lighter than the underside, but the hindwing upperside is much darker than the underside. Forewing upperside with a minute discal spot; median transverse line running from costal margin, 12 mm from the apex, to hind margin, 6 mm from the hind angle. Forewing underside basally dark brown with a darker transverse line running from the costal margin, 7 mm from the apex, to the hind margin, 6 mm from the hind angle; distal to this line, the wing is light brown with the irregular distal border characteristic of Cypa. Hindwing upperside unicolorous. Hindwing underside light brown, with transverse median and postmedial lines.
