Daphnis dohertyi (Taxonomy)
Morphology:
Forewing upperside with a conspicuous white basal spot; antemedian line irregular, distinct only at and near discal cell; median area olive-green, deeply incised between M2 and M3 whereas it is as broad between M3 and CuA1 as between M1 and M2; conspicuous white spots present at apex; marginal area bordered by a short straight grey apical line from apex to Rs4 then an evenly convex pale marginal line from Rs4 to tornus. Hindwing underside with white costal spots. Forewing length: 42-47 mm. Harpe with distal part produced into a long finger, dorsal margin somewhat undulate. Aedeagus apical process with two left lobes, one pointing proximad, the other dextrad, and a longer straight right lobe.
