Daphnis vriesi (Taxonomy)
Morphology:
Forewing upperside very similar to Daphnis hayesi but ground colour brown, lacking any green scaling. Forewing length: 35-38 mm. Forewing length: 38-42 mm. Harpe with dorsal teeth arranged in a semi-circle and a very long curved basal process. Aedeagus apical process with two slender lobes as in Daphnis hypothous hypothous but the left lobe very short.
