General description:
Synonymized with the nominotypical subspecies by Carcasson & Heppner, 1996, Atlas Neotrop. Lepid.4B: 56. Reinstated as a subspecies of Enyo bathus by Kitching & Cadiou, 2000, Hawkmoths of the world: 44.
Morphology:
Separable from Enyo bathus bathus only on features of the male genitalia. Very similar to those of Enyo bathus bathus but dorsal margin of valve bluntly angled (produced at this point into a short, blunt lobe in Enyo bathus bathus) and apical spine of right valve shorter
