Enyo boisduvali (Taxonomy)
Transferred to Enyo by d'Abrera, [1987], Sphingidae Mundi: 106.
Most similar to Enyo lugubris lugubris but easily distinguished by the well-developed, strongly dentate postmedian lines on the undersides of both pairs of wings. Similar to Enyo lugubris lugubris but centre of the thorax paler grey than the tegulae and with a very dark brown or black median mark shaped like an inverted Y; abdomen with a conspicuous broad, pale grey dorsal line.. Forewing upperside with postmedian area particularly dark with orange highlights, contrasting strongly with the pale grey apical patch on the outer margin. Forewing underside with three well-developed transverse postmedian lines, the most distal two of which are strongly dentate; subapical patch poorly differentiated (similar to that of Enyo latipennis). Hindwing underside with three well-developed transverse postmedian lines, the most distal two of which are strongly dentate.
