Forewing apex truncate (not sinuate as in Enyo gorgon) in both sexes. Chocolate mummy-brown, almost black in some places. Dorso-lateral patches of wool on abdomen large, directed upwards and backwards, sixth tergite with greyish white fringe. Chocolate mummy-brown, almost black in some places. One of the four species of Enyo with a forewing androconial organ in the males; androconial organ narrow as in Enyo taedium taedium).Forewing discal cell narrower than in Enyo gorgon and Enyo taedium taedium; m1-m2 very short and curved, m2-m3 longitudinal, not oblique or transverse; M2 curved, M3 also curved slightly. Forewing upperside with basal two-thirds flushed with grey, except for a large chocolate-black area between M3, CuA2 and the costa; this greyish area forms a curved band from the costa to the tornus, within which the posterior veins bear interrupted bluish white streaks, and the posterior part of which is crossed by dark undulating lines running from the black patch posteriorly; costal margin with thin bluish white lines proximal of the apex of the discal cell; outer third of the wing like the median patch, except for a sharply defined, pale grey marginal half moon from Rs4 to beyond CuA1; Rs4 and M1 with interrupted bluish white streaks, bluish white scales also along the costa; a deep, ovate subbasal cavity posterior to Cu, clothed with dispersed narrow and long scales. Forewing upperside similar to Enyo gorgon but ground colour darker and the dark brown patch surrounding the discal spot gradually narrowed along the antemedian line to the posterior margin. Uncus and gnathos similar to Enyo gorgon but lateral processes of uncus shorter. Valve broader than in Enyo gorgon, apex rounded ventrally, process very short. Aedeagus with a short, apical, horizontal, triangular process.
