Enyo ocypete (Taxonomy)

Antenna with a prominent apical brush of scales. Forewing upperside lacking a fold containing an androconial organ. Hindwing upperside with a diagnostic pale yellowish-white anal patch. Similar to Enyo lugubris lugubris, but easily distinguished by the broad brown belt across the base of the abdomen dorsally (this belt is either very narrow or absent in Enyo lugubris lugubris). Forewing upperside with dark area not sharply defined, prolonged along antemedian line to posterior margin; discal spot small. Similar to Enyo lugubris lugubris but:Apical process of uncus not quite as long and a little downcurved downward, ventral process also shorter.Gnathos twisted apically.Valve without apical process, almost regularly acuminate in apical third.Harpe free apically, more or less truncate.Aedeagus ending in a much broader, long pointed process.
