Eumorpha megaeacus
Upperside generally rather dark but distinguished from other species of Eumorpha by the presence on the forewing upperside of a conspicuous, but ill-defined, longitudinal brown band running parallel to the hind margin from the wing base, between CuA1 and CuA2, to near the outer margin where it becomes diffuse. Hindbasitarsus as long as tibia, and as tarsomeres 2 to 4 together. Midtibia not distinctly white above
Male genitalia: Uncus similar to Eumorpha satellitia satellita but less pointed. Valve quite short, without patch of bristles on inner face. Harpe similar to Eumorpha adamsi and Eumorpha fasciatus fasciatus, with two processes, one homologous to that in Eumorpha satellitia satellita short and not very curved, partly concealed in lateral view by a broad, obtuse, compressed lobe.
