Eumorpha satellitia excessus
Diagnostic description:
Very similar to Eumorpha analis but the apical half of the forewing upperside considerably darker than basal half, with the darker markings consequently less prominent. Hindwing upperside similar to Eumorpha satellitia posticatus but pink along inner margin reduced to a narrow streak.
Distribution:
This subspecies is restricted to the Brazilian states of Mato Grosso and Mato Grosso do Sul.
