Abstract:

"A new species of the genus Ambulyx Westwood,1847, Ambulyx rawlinsi sp. nov., is described and illustrated from the island of Seram, Maluku, Indonesia. A comparison of the habitus and male genitalia, together with DNA barcode data, is made with its closest relatives, Ambulyx charlesi (Clark, 1924) from Buru and A. marissa Eitschberger & Melichar, 2009 from Obi."
