All four species recorded here are likely to be, or to include, misidentifications. The records of Psilogramma casuarinae (endemic to Australia) and Psilogramma orientalis (endemic to the Bismarck Archipelago) are certainly incorrect. What species they actually are is unknown. The Psilogramma menephron are probably a mix of Psilogramma discistriga discistriga and Psilogramma renneri, but could include darker specimens of Psilogramma increta. The records of Psilogramma increta are likely a mix of that species and Psilogramma vates.
