Isognathus rimosa jamaicensis (Taxonomy)
Morphology:
Upperside of body and forewing grey, with a faint pinkish tint that is particularly obvious when compared side by side with Isognathus rimosa molitor. Pronotum, median mesonotal stripe and median stripe on tegulae black. Ground colour of forewing upperside most similar to Isognathus rimosa molitor but more grey. Hindwing upperside with deeper yellow basal area than in Isognathus rimosa molitor; two dark bars in the grey anal patch only faintly indicated (distinct in Isognathus rimosa molitor). Yellow area of hindwing underside similar to Isognathus rimosa molitor but occupies more than half of the discal cell rather than just entering it.
