Nephele comoroana
Diagnostic description:
Similar to Nephele accentifera and Nephele densoi but slightly smaller. Forewing upperside more uniformly brown than in Nephele accentifera and Nephele densoi; entire antemedial and medial area uniform brown, except for the silver discal spot and a light brown semi-lunar area on the costa; postmedial band rosy beige-grey, extending evenly from costa to inner margin. Male wingspan: 50-70 mm, average = 66 mm. Female wingspan: 74-78 mm, average = 76 mm.
